My name is Chris Canada. I am a professional pitcher and played with the Glacier range Riders in Montana this past season. I have an interesting story, I attended Orange Lutheran High School. I did not start pitching until my senior year, where I achieved SoCal Co-Pitcher of the year. I was getting recruited at the Division 1 level as an outfielder, but by the end of the year I was talking to multiple MLB teams as a pitcher.

After committing to San Diego State University, I earned the Sunday starting role as a freshman. During my sophomore year, I was offered the opportunity to play in the Cape Cod baseball league, but an injury kept me from going. That injury, along with a heart condition kept me off my game for two years.

Now I am back and working toward the level I know I am capable of reaching. Those two years taught me that development is not always a straight line, it takes patience, resilience, and consistent work. I want to use what I’ve learned to help other athletes chase their goals and navigate the setbacks along the way.
